Rotherham United Community Trust is delighted to announce The Tabard as the official sponsor of United 4 Communities FC for the 2026/27 football season.
Based in Herringthorpe, The Tabard is a welcoming local pub at the heart of the Rotherham community. Its support will help United 4 Communities take an exciting next step as the team prepares to enter the Rotherham and District Sunday Football League for the first time.
United 4 Communities will compete in the Wall Panel Centre Division 3 during the 2026/27 season, marking a new chapter in the team’s journey.
Established by Rotherham United Community Trust, United 4 Communities uses football to bring people from different backgrounds together. The programme provides a safe and welcoming environment for local residents, refugees and asylum seekers living in Rotherham, supporting participants to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, build friendships and feel more connected to their local community.
The new sponsorship reflects a shared commitment between RUCT and The Tabard to supporting local people and strengthening communities across Rotherham.
