Rotherham United Community Trust are profoundly saddened to announce the passing of lifelong Millers supporter, Owen Jenkinson.

Owen’s unwavering passion for the Millers, his courage in the face of adversity and his generous spirit made him a shining figure within our club and our community. He embraced every moment, wearing his red and white heart on his sleeve and showing all of us what it truly means to be part of the Millers family.

Over recent years, Owen inspired countless people: supporters, players, colleagues and friends alike. His fundraising efforts and the incredible support of our club community under the banner of #TeamJenko brought hope, togetherness and a powerful reminder of what football can bring beyond the pitch.

At Rotherham United Community Trust, our mission is about more than sport, it’s about people, community and the power of collective kindness. Owen embodied that mission. His courage, friendship and boundless love for the club will remain with us always.

We extend our deepest condolences to Owen’s family, and to all whose lives he touched. We hope that you find strength in the knowledge that Owen’s legacy lives on in the unity, compassion and spirit of those he brought together.

Owen will forever remain part of the Rotherham United family. Once a Miller, always a Miller.

Rest in peace, Owen.
