Rotherham United Community Trust (RUCT) is delighted to announce that Andrew Isaacs Law has generously awarded a bursary to one of our U8 Future Stars players, Albie, enabling him to attend Future Stars sessions free of charge for a full year. The bursary also includes a complete Future Stars training kit, ensuring Albie can enjoy every session in comfort and style.

The Future Stars programme gives young players the chance to develop their skills in a fun, supportive environment while building confidence both on and off the pitch. This bursary means Albie can continue his football journey without financial barriers, highlighting the difference local businesses can make in young lives.

Owen Kelly, Football Development Coordinator at RUCT, said:

“We’re incredibly grateful to Andrew Isaacs Law for their generous support. Opportunities like this are only possible thanks to the backing of local businesses and organisations. Their contribution makes sure that talented youngsters like Albie can enjoy the game, improve their skills and grow as individuals.”

Without the support of businesses and organisations such as Andrew Isaacs Law, Rotherham United Community Trust would not be able to provide opportunities like this for young people in Rotherham.

Rachael Gromett, Solicitor at Andrew Isaacs Law Limited, told us:

“As a parent of a player in the Emerging Talent Centre, I have seen first-hand the quality of coaching, care and opportunities it provides. But I also recognise that not every family can afford the fees, and without bursaries some young people would miss out. That’s why we wanted to support this initiative – to give a talented child the chance to progress, no matter their financial background. We’re proud to be the first business to do this, and we would encourage others to join us.”

We also spoke with Albie’s Mum, Gemma, who said:

“We’re delighted to have the generous support of Andrew Issacs Law Limited in sponsoring Albie for this season at Future Stars – thank you for backing him and helping make this journey possible. We’re excited to see where his football journey takes him and grateful for him to be given this opportunity.”
