We’re proud to announce that Swift Pharmacy will be supporting our 100 Miles for 100 Years Challenge by providing our dedicated team with a range of essential medical supplies to get them safely through the four-day trek from Rotherham United to Northampton Town this October.
With 10 staff members walking the full 100 miles, and many others joining stages along the way, the challenge will raise vital funds to support some of Rotherham’s most vulnerable people through projects including mental health programmes, cancer recovery groups, holiday camps for children, and our Millers Memory Club for people living with dementia.
Last season, RUCT generated £15,066,597 in social value, engaged 15,000 unique participants, supported over 270 local charities and groups, and delivered more than 86,000 attendances – and it’s the support of local businesses like Swift Pharmacy that makes this possible.
Jonathan Allan, RUCT:
“We are so thankful that so many local businesses are stepping forward to support us. Partnerships like this mean that more of the money raised goes directly to helping the participants who need us the most. Knowing that Swift Pharmacy is providing medical support gives our team the confidence to tackle this huge challenge head-on.”
Khizer Qureshi, Owner of Swift Pharmacy:
“We are incredibly proud to support Rotherham United Community Trust – an organisation with community at the heart of its new strategy. The amazing staff taking on this trek are doing so on behalf of those who need it most in our town, and we are delighted to play a part in making their efforts possible.”
Together, we’re showing that when Rotherham comes together, everyone can live well, achieve success, and feel united.
