Rotherham United Community Trust (RUCT) is delighted to announce Medequip and Ross Care as official shirt sleeve sponsors for the upcoming 100 Miles for 100 Years fundraising challenge.
Both organisations have a strong history of supporting RUCT initiatives, including Powerchair Football and a range of health and wellbeing projects. Their renewed backing highlights the power of collaboration in creating positive change across the borough.
Taking place from 8–11th October 2025, the 100 Miles for 100 Years challenge will see a team of walkers, runners and cyclists travel from the AESSEAL New York Stadium to Northampton Town’s Sixfields Stadium—raising more than £10,000 to fund RUCT’s life-changing programmes in mental health, cancer recovery, education, youth activities and much more.
Medequip and Ross Care share values that align closely with RUCT’s mission to help people in Rotherham live well and achieve their potential. Their sponsorship strengthens a partnership built on inclusion, wellbeing and community impact.
Jonathan Allan, RUCT Director of Development, said:
“We’re thrilled to have Medequip and Ross Care join us for our next big challenge. Their continued support shows how local organisations can work with us to make a real difference for the wider Rotherham community.”
