Andy’s Man Club at New York Stadium
Rotherham United Community Trust is proud to host Andy’s Man Club every Monday evening at the New York Stadium – a safe, supportive space where men can open up, connect with others, and talk through life’s challenges.
Held from 7–9pm, the session is free to attend and welcomes men from all walks of life. Doors open at 6:30pm, giving attendees the chance to grab a hot drink and biscuits, relax, and settle in before the session begins.
The sessions are all about creating a relaxed, social environment where there’s absolutely no pressure to speak. Whether you want to share what’s on your mind or just sit back and listen, you’re more than welcome.
As part of the session, five simple questions are asked to guide the conversation – but again, there’s no obligation to answer if you’re not comfortable. It’s all about being there, being present, and knowing you’re not alone.
Earlier this month, our Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, Mike Dyson, joined Rotherham Radio to talk about the positive impact Andy’s Man Club is having locally:
Andy’s Man Club has grown into a national movement encouraging men to open up and break the stigma surrounding mental health. Here at Rotherham United Community Trust, we’re proud to support this mission – offering a home for the conversation and a chance for men to connect every single week.
If you, or someone you know, could benefit from attending, please know you’re welcome any Monday night. No booking, no referral – just turn up, grab a brew, and take the first step.
