Make a Difference This Christmas: Support the RUFC Toy and Selection Box Appeal

Rotherham United Community Trust is proud to continue spreading the festive cheer with our annual Toy and Selection Box Appeal! This year, we’re calling on Millers fans to help us bring smiles to children in need across the community. At our upcoming home game against Northampton Town on Saturday, 14th December, we’ll be collecting toy and selection box donations at the FanZone.

Christmas can be a challenging time for many families, especially those experiencing financial hardship. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a world of difference to a child in need. By working together as a club and a community, we can help ensure that no child goes without a gift to unwrap on Christmas morning.

What Can You Donate?

We’re looking for:

• New and unwrapped toys/gifts suitable for children of all ages (of a value of around £20).
• Selection boxes to spread some holiday sweetness.

Whether it’s a cuddly teddy, a fun board game, or a craft set, your donation will bring joy to a child who needs it most.

How to Donate

Donations can be brought to the stadium on matchday, where our volunteers will be stationed at the FanZone (based at the front of the Stadium). Can’t make it to the match? You can still contribute by dropping off your donations at the Rotherham United Community Trust offices during our opening hours.

The Impact of Your Generosity

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of Millers fans, we distributed hundreds of selection boxes to families across the region, making a real difference during the festive season. This year, we’re aiming to go even bigger and better!

Your donations will be distributed to Families First Rotherham and the Fire House Group, local charities and community organisations, ensuring they reach those who need them the most. Together, we can create magical moments for children and their families, making the festive season a little brighter.
