Together Against Racism

With support from anti-discrimination charity Kick It Out, the campaign sees a focused drive from the EFL and its clubs to stamp out racism and any form of discrimination in football.

Youth and Inclusion Manager, Dylan Hadley, said: “Rotherham United F.C. and Rotherham United Community Trust are united in continuously working towards removing any and all forms of racism from the New York Stadium.”

“Football is for everyone, the stadium is a safe space for all, and our sessions are a place for participants to embrace their background whilst learning about others.”

“It has been great to work alongside campaigns like Stand Up Beat Hate, and to raise awareness for Hate Crime Awareness week. As a hate crime reporting centre, we encourage anyone to step up and report something if they see, or hear any form of racism or discrimination.”

Supporters can report incidents at the AESSEAL New York Stadium in several ways, including:

Warm Coat Appeal for Rotherham Hospital & Community Charity

Find the perfect match for your old coat

The Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity has teaming up with the club for a special coat collection at today’s match against Wrexham and they need your help!

The charity is asking fans to check your wardrobes and bring any old coats and jackets you no longer need to support The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust’s Coat Rack initiative.

The Coat Rack project was launched in 2022 to ensure patients leave hospital with a warm coat to wear, especially if they’ve arrived in an emergency situation and don’t have access to the essentials they need.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of staff, patients, and local businesses and Rotherham United, hundreds of coats have already been donated and found new homes. Now, we’re asking Millers fans to get involved.

The charity needs coats of all sizes – including children’s – provided they are clean, in good condition and have no broken zips or tears. All donations will go directly to supporting the health and wellbeing of patients who may not have suitable clothing during the colder months.

If you missed the opportunity to donate today, could your business, school or community group join companies like ERP Ltd, Gripple, Dunelm, FWD Motion and Rotherham Opportunities College already collecting coats for the appeal this autumn? Get in touch with the charity on 01709 426821 or email trft.rhcc@nhs.net

Thank you for your support!

Jules & Raggett Visit Moorgate Hollow Care Home!

Last week, Rotherham United’s Zak Jules and Sean Raggett paid a special visit to Moorgate Hollow and Moorgate Lodge Nursing Home, bringing smiles to the faces of residents and staff alike. The visit gave the players a chance to hear personal stories from lifelong Millers fans and learn more about the experiences of the nursing home residents.

Many of the fans reminisced about their memories of following Rotherham United over the years, and it was a heartwarming opportunity for the players to connect with those who have supported the club throughout their lives.

A big thank you goes to Leighann for organizing the visit and making the day so special. The club hopes it was a memorable occasion for everyone involved!
