Rotherham United Community Trust (RUCT) are excited to announce the launch of the ‘2025 Club’, an initiative designed to secure social value investment from local businesses, aiming to enhance the community impact of the Trust. This strategic move seeks to build robust partnerships with local businesses, creating long-term relationships that will benefit Rotherham through targeted community programmes.

A century old in 2025, Rotherham United continues to play a huge part in the local community. The Community Trust has existed as a charity since 2007 and now delivers more than 100 projects every week across the town.

The 2025 club offers businesses the chance to support the Trust to do more. We are aiming to raise £100,000 in the 100th year of Rotherham United to help us continue to create healthy, happy, and active communities where you are.

The ‘2025 Club’ is central to the mission and values that RUCT already implement into their everyday impact, they are wanting to connect with local businesses from across Rotherham to understand their goals and work together to achieve these whilst creating a lasting impact in the community.

For those who are willing and eager to get involved, they can receive various exciting opportunities and benefits of being a member of the 2025 Club. From hospitality tickets on match days, a signed shirt and ball, to promotion for your business across all RUFC/RUCT social media, and much more.

But how would RUCT spend the money that your business invests? They have broken down per department how much different sessions cost to run over a year; like their dementia groups, mental health coffee mornings, SEND football sessions, kids holiday camps, all these sessions are just the tip of the iceberg. A donation of £4000 could make one of these sessions completely accessible and free for anyone to attend, to provide resources and equipment, cover staffing and venue costs, as well as much more.

RUCT would like to thank their first 2025 Club member, LensGo, our official visual media partner. The work LensGo provide free of charge saves the trust thousands of pounds every year and it is this type of partnership as well as cash investment, fundraising and sponsorship that really make the difference to the charity and allow our project budgets to stretch further, reaching more participants and making an even bigger difference where it matters – in our town.
