Rotherham United Community Trust (RUCT) was established in 2007 as the charitable arm of Rotherham United Football Club. We work with partners and communities across the borough to plan and deliver beneficial provisions to a range of groups and individuals. With the community at the heart of everything we do, our passionate team are committed to ensuring our topics are current and relevant, aiming to make a positive and lasting impact on the people we work with.

Health & Wellbeing
Our Health & Wellbeing department run a wide range of sessions with a determination to benefit our community to improve both their physical health and mental state of mind.
Our health & wellbeing programmes are tailored towards the specific needs of members of the community, with an emphasis on educating people to make positive choices. Our friendly and supportive team are here to listen to what people need and work together to offer the best support we can.

Education & Employability
Rotherham United Sports College offers a number of high quality academic pathways designed to open avenues for further training and employment within the sports industry. Along with further and higher education, we host an effective training and employment programme, working with adults to enhance their confidence and improve their future prospects.
Based at New York Stadium provides us with beneficial networks as well as a professional environment for students to work within. At the stadium we boast state of the art classrooms, the latest equipment and resources, and high class facilities both on and off site.

Youth & Inclusion
Here at the Trust, we are proud to celebrate the diversity of our vibrant community whilst continuously promoting societal cohesion. We regularly adapt our activities and develop projects to meet community needs, with a key focus on ensuring all people within our community feel valued and included.
We are proud to embrace positive relationships and network with local partners which enables us to host a range of provisions. Our staff work tirelessly to deliver dynamic provision around the community needs in Rotherham. It’s important to us that we work with underrepresented groups in sport including disabilities, Black, Asian, Ethnic Minority, women and LGBTQ+ groups and individuals.

Our participation department are committed to encouraging and inspiring the community of Rotherham to increase their physical activity levels by actively taking part in football and sporting activities. From working in schools, to delivering holiday camps, and unforgettable match day experiences.
Our qualified coaches boast an array of skills and experience in a range of different sports, particularly football. We are in a great position to offer talent pathways, providing opportunities for development and progression within the football industry.
