Movember upon us once again, and as always we want raise awareness about men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health. RUCT strive all year round to provide activities and sessions for men that are easily accessible, beneficial and social that cover the grounds of men’s fitness and mental health.

Recently, our More Than Football department here at RUCT has been working closely with Andy’s Man Club. Andy’s Man Club aims to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and create a judgment-free, confidential space where men can be open about the storms in their lives.

Andy’s Man Clubs first local group in Brinsworth was set up by someone local who lost a relative and a like-minded attendee from another group. The sheer number of blokes attending Brinsworth has led to the creation of groups at Wath, and Maltby. With the aim to have a new session running from here, the AESSEAL New York Stadium very soon.

Attending the group is completely free, confidential and accessible to any man over 18. No referral is required and there are no waiting lists.
