We hear from Community Coach, Chris Hall on his sporting background, his unfortunate injury setback and his progression working with us here at The Trust.

Chris started his sporting career representing Castleford Tigers and Wakefield Wildcats in the Rugby League Up until 2012, where he a life changing brain injury on the field. Making a recovery with the support from his family and teammates after having an operation and then pushing himself and his body to do the things he loves again. in 2019 Chris moved to Rotherham, seeking a new path in his sporting career after his setback he now works here at Rotherham United Community Sports Trust as a Community Coach.
As a huge part of our health team, Chris is now as a qualified fitness instructor. This enables him to support so many of different weekly sessions our health team provide, such as our men and women’s fitness sessions, mental health walking football and our Fit Millers programme, we have already heard tremendous feedback from the participants praising his guidance, support and positive attitude.
