Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are proud to support The Trussell Trust and Network Foodbank to help local people in crisis by donating to our foodbank.
This week Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are running a “Food Bank Drive” to support the amazing work that is carried out across the community. We have donation points located at the stadium all week with the home game on Saturday being the opportunity for fans to make any donations.
The food we collect will be passed on to selected food banks in the area for them to handle the distribution. If this is something you would like to be involved in and make a donation, then please let us know and we will be more than happy to come and collect from you as we appreciate that getting to the stadium isn’t an easy thing to do.
You can help support local people in crisis!
Come by and donate anytime this week or on our EFL Championship fixture against Norwich City on the 5th of November!
Trussell Trust foodbanks provide three days of emergency food to local individuals and families in crisis. Frontline care professionals including health visitors, social workers and school liaison officers refer people who are facing hunger to the foodbank. As well as receiving nutritionally balanced, non-perishable food parcels, people visiting the foodbank are welcomed with a cup of tea, listened to and signposted to agencies who are able to help resolve the underlying cause of the problem.
Please help local people in crisis by buying items from the list below and giving them to the foodbanks collection points at The New York Stadium – Youth Hub, Rotherham United Club Shop & Fan Zone (Match Day Only)
