At Rotherham United Community Trust, we are here to support others. Our team have a wealth of experience and passion around improving both physical and mental wellbeing, and the tools to encourage healthy and positive lifestyles.

We run an abundance of health and wellbeing sessions with a determination to benefit our community to improve both their physical health and mental state of mind.

Our health and wellbeing programmes are tailored towards the specific needs of members of the community, with an emphasis on educating people to make positive choices. Our friendly and supportive team are here to listen to what people need and work together to offer the best support we can.

We welcome anybody who would like to get involved in our sessions, regardless of gender, age and ability.

ANNUAL STATISTICS

  • In 2022, we delivered over 1,100 Health and Wellbeing Sessions.
  • In 2022, we engaged with roughly 320 participants every single week.
  • 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (like anxiety and depression) in any given week in England.
  • Evidence suggests there are 5 steps you can take to help improve your mental health and wellbeing, these are connect, be active, take notice, keep learning and give.
