WHO ARE WE?
The trust is driven by our passionate team who are motivated by helping others and giving back to the community. We collect feedback from our beneficiaries of which shapes our provision delivery with regards to the needs of the people of Rotherham.
All of our staff are DBS checked and have appropriate qualifications. We provide regular training to ensure all activities are safe, educational and impactful.

Safeguarding
Rotherham United Community Trust are committed to ensuring the general well being and welfare of all children, young people and adults who are involved in our community programme.
We recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and devote time to regularly educate staff to follow best practise as demonstrated within our updated policies and procedures.

Equality & Diversity
At the Trust we have a zero-tolerance approach towards discriminatory language and behaviour. Equality and diversity is at the forefront of all of our provision and development at the Trust, allowing opportunities for people no matter their race, gender, sexuality, background, ability or faith. To support these ethics we promote a range of campaigns throughout the year to raise awareness and educate people in the community and wider.
Our aim is for our communities and participants to align with this and buy into our values and ethos. We do this through educational workshops and development discussions across our provision, whilst on detached youth work and within schools. Being an ally to underrepresented groups plays a huge part in making a more cohesive and inclusive society.
